After several delays, we are able to start flowing water through the first of two new vertical rack systems. Thanks to a grant from the NM Economic Development Department, we have added almost 4,000 new grow spaces capable of producing 2,000 mature plants each week. We will use these racks to increase our supply of lettuce and spinach for schools and food banks. We expect also to increase some culinary herb production and baby arugula for new clients wanting to buy from us.
